I played the DOS version of The Adventures of Willy Beamish when I was younger, on a computer that didn’t have a sound card. The Sega CD’s theme song has been stuck in my head since I found out about it a couple of days ago.
I absolutely adore the early 90s RADICAL atmosphere the whole game has, and while it’s a little corny the plot and writing are pretty damn good, it’s kinda sad that a sequel got canceled. What’s interesting is that while Willy himself is portrayed as a kid, given the release date he’s several years older than me. It just gets weirder when I feel like I’d probably sleep with date him given the chance.
Despite having eggs I tried an eggless recipe, and they ended up very light and delicious! The taste was a wee bit off, but nothing some tweaks wouldn’t improve (plus I think it was because of my waffle iron anyway).
Thank you! I don’t consider myself much of a programmer but I have a little bit of experience with Python, Lua and Java. I can probably wing some C++ as well, but I’ve never really made any big projects with those.
Probably the one language I used the most was FreeBASIC ages ago, going so far as making a half-decent platformer game engine on it that I never finished into anything.
